Raise your hand if you procrastinate, π♀️π♀️π♀️. I used to be one of the biggest procrastinators I know until I started doing something about it.
We have things we need to do, and boom! Suddenly, it's the next day, and we have nothing done. Well, that was me. But then I did some research in the handiest book out there, the Bible. And I found some things worth seeing.
"Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap." Ecclesiastes 11:4.
Stop sitting and watching your life as it gets filled higher and higher with things to do; go at it, or nothing will get done, and we all know how it feels when it's the last minute, stressful. Watching the wind will not plant my friend.
The devil is always trying to find ways to ruin our faith and walk with Jesus; don't let that happen! He wants us to always feel down on ourselves and feel like we are worth nothing and can't do anything, but that's not true. God says: " Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too." 1 John 5:1. We are children of the one true King! Believe that, live that, love that. Start to know your worth through Christ, know God's word, and fight back when the enemy starts to waste your time.
"If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. 13 The temptations of your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure." 1 Corinthians 10:12-13.
God knows what you are going through; it won't be more than you can handle. Stand firm and be strong. Jesus is there, always. He is fighting for you!
