How to be a Christian teenager…

in , by spiritually fit girl, October 02, 2022

Are you trying to find your place in the world? Always have to make sure you are "on trend."  Which isn't necessarily bad, but what does God say about it? Let's dig deep into His word; we will examine two things: 1. How to be a Christian teenager? 2. What does God say about the world?

"But while you are in the world, I am the light of the world."  John 9:5.

Christianity can sometimes look scary to a teen's eye:" oh, I can't be a Christian; I have no idea what to do, and even if I did, there is no way I can be perfect."

Well, I'm here to tell you, it's not hard, and you do not need to be perfect, my friend!! Nobody can! God sent His only perfect son to die for us so we don't have to be. Now that doesn't mean we can go around being mean and doing things that are just straight up wrong, but it means that we try our hardest to look like Christians and love because God first loved us.

“But it is no shame to suffer for being Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by His name.”  1 Peter 4:16.

Jesus prayed: " I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world."  John 17:14. The world is an evil place; it looks beautiful on the outside, but when you walk in, it's full of hate, pain, and fear. But God says that is what the world is! The world is fallen; we Christians should stand for what we believe in and make it known; therefore, we will be hated!! But that's not necessarily bad because our goal is to follow Jesus; the world hated Him, so why shouldn't it hate us?

Life is full of confusing times; take those times and go to the word of God. If you are wondering how to be a Christian teenager, have hope and believe in God, Pray to the Lord, look in his word, and trust Him always, He is so so good! Maybe try to join a Bible study; if you can't do that, don't sweat it! The Bible doesn't say you must go to church to be saved or be a Christian. Just try to find some friends or family that will take this journey with you! ( or message me!) remember, you are a child of the one true King! He loves you so much!

" For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord " They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11.

NOTE: these photos came from pexels.com. I know I said this in one of my older posts, but I’ll say it again, The Bible Reacap is one of the best Bible in a year plans ever! Give it a try!!
