Can you make money as a teen? Yes! Can you make money on Poshmark as a teen? Yes! And in this blog, I'm going to give you my advice and tell you what I did to do so. Let's jump in!
Ok, Poshmark is one of the best online-selling and shopping apps. It's easy, and it works. First, let's get the most asked question, " what about the shipping costs?" Out of the way, and the answer to that question is, there are none!! Yay! But wait, life can't be that good, folks; they take a bit of your overall price. Which, in my opinion, is well worth it for how easy they make packaging, shipping, and, well... everything!
Let's move to the question, " what are self-shares?" And my friend, self-shares are the key to success! You share your stuff; your item is the first to come up when people search, that my friend is how you get the $$$.
"How many items should I have in my closet?" In my opinion, it doesn't matter! I posted two dresses when I first started, and one sold in under an hour. So again, as long as you are self-sharing, you will begin to make sales no matter how much you have in your closet.
Make sure you are sharing other people's stuff and following. Some people will say that this doesn't matter, but it does! Most of the time, if you share other people's items, they share your stuff, and they may find something they like, and it gets out to their follower's page.
It also gets you closer to having a posh ambassador status.
Lastly, " what is a posh ambassador status, and why is that important?" A posh ambassador is a person with a star on their page; they get special things like extra followers and more traffic to their closet! That is important because of two words: more. Sales. To become one, you must press "about" on the top of your closet page, then scroll down to the "become a posh ambassador." button, and they will give you the steps! Easy as pie!
So, sales are slow, and I need money; what do I do?
- Self-share.
- Post an item as often as possible ( try not to post everything all in one day, spread it out over multiple days.)
- Follow and share other people's closets.
